Minneapolis

Minneapolis · live every morning

290 Minneapolis owners got a new reason to sell this week.

The city gave each property a new code violation. Each one reaches you by 7am with why the owner may sell and the move to make, free. A plan adds who to write to: the owner's name and mailing address. Built city by city from each city's own records: 6 cities live.

Free to use, no card. Owner names and mailing addresses from $39 a month.

Built city by city.

Not one national feed. Each Curbadeed city is built from that city's own records, in its own words: Columbus's code cases, Chicago's building violations, Houston's 311 reports, each matched to the owners on file. 6 cities are live; more open as we finish them properly.

Live counts from the public record. The more reasons to sell stack up on one property, the higher it ranks, so a building with an out-of-town owner who has held it for years rises to the top.

Questions and answers

Something else? Ask on the access form and we'll answer by email.

Which cities do you cover?

Baltimore, Buffalo, Chicago, Columbus, Houston, Minneapolis, each built from that city's own records. We add cities one at a time and only open one once its list is right: its own record types, wording and owner data. One account can watch several cities and switch between them.

How is this different from pulling the city data myself?

The code violations are public, and you can download them. What you'd then do by hand every day, Curbadeed does overnight: match each parcel to its owner and mailing address, check how long they've owned it, and rank what's left. You open a scored list instead of a spreadsheet.

Where does the data come from?

Code violations from the City of Minneapolis (housing, fire and nuisance inspections, vacant buildings), joined to Hennepin County parcel records for the owner and the last sale. All public records, published by the city and county. We don't scrape social media or buy consumer data.

Which neighborhoods do you cover?

All of Minneapolis: every ZIP in the city with properties in the records. Narrow it to the ZIPs you buy in, and the morning email follows your choice.

Can I cancel?

Yes, in a few clicks from your account: month to month, no contract. You go back to Free, and your saved lists, notes and follow-up history stay in your account.

What's free?

Everything except who to write to: every property on the list in every live city, why the owner may sell and the move to make, the map, saved lists, follow-ups and the morning email. Owner names and mailing addresses, letters and CSV export come with a plan.

Do you include phone numbers?

No. Curbadeed is for reaching owners by mail and in person: we don't supply phone numbers or email addresses, and our Terms don't allow adding them to the list.

Are the leads exclusive?

No. The records are public. What you get is speed and the stacking: each property reaches you in the first morning email after Minneapolis publishes it, scored against everything else we know about it.

What can't I use it for?

Marketing only. You may not use Curbadeed to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, housing or employment.
